• Learners will design lessons based on curriculum standards and an essential
question that is connected to the deep understanding students will gain from
the lesson.

• Learners will determine long-term goals that reflect desired student qualities for
the lesson they design.

• Learners will clarify student criteria for success that demonstrate student
understanding.

• Learners will design lesson activities that meet pre-determined goals, are
aligned to curriculum standards, based on constructivist teaching practices and
reflect appropriate use of technology for learning.
